Optimizing SMB Loan Approval Systems for a Leading Bank with Verification and QA Testing
A leading US-based fintech lender gave working capital to small businesses. The platform ran into problems, data gaps, and broken links across its loan systems. With this in mind, a QA project was set up to run auto testing and connection checks. Rule checks were also added across the platform.

The Challenge
The lender needed to fix system problems and data issues across its loan platform. The platform handled SMB funding at scale.

Platform Instability Across Environments

The loan platform broke down across several modules, including underwriting, loan setup, and servicing. These problems slowed down review cycles and made outputs hard to trust.

Integration and Verification Gaps

Third-party tools for business checks, credit checks, and money data were not being checked in a set way. Gaps in connection testing created risk around data accuracy and loan review workflows.

The Solution
Entrans ran a full QA project across the loan platform. The goal was to fix performance, check connections, and meet rule needs across all active modules.

Multi-Module QA Coverage

Testing was run across underwriting, loan setup, servicing, and main modules. Each area got its own tester to make sure nothing was missed.

Third-Party Integration Testing

Connection testing was carried out for business checking platforms, including Inscribe, Footprint, and Mid-desk. This checked data accuracy and how well each tool worked with the loan platform.

Regression and Defect Management

Issues found during testing were flagged, logged, and fixed. This improved how the platform worked and stopped the same problems from coming back.

Security and Compliance Validation

Security testing was run to protect data. This made sure business and money data met all rules across every setup.

Sprint-Based QA Delivery

A set delivery schedule was put in place covering sprint planning, client demos, sign-offs, and lookbacks. This kept testing in line with each platform release.

The Outcome
The lending platform now handles SMB funding with better accuracy, stability, and trust. Checked connections and set QA cycles have cut delays and made loan workflows steadier.

3 Verification Platforms Integrated and validated, including Inscribe, Footprint, and Mid-desk.

6 Platform Modules covered across underwriting, origination, servicing, and systems through QA testing.

0 Tolerance Defect Rate achieved on Footprint delivery following analysis and end-to-end QA validation.
